Seahawks' Richardson caught winning TD after part of finger broke through skin

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson returned from a gruesome injury to catch the touchdown that put his team ahead of the San Francisco 49ers for good in Sunday's 12-9 victory.

Richardson dislocated his right ring finger in the first quarter to the degree that part of the finger broke through his skin, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of Seattle pi.

Richardson had the injury sewn up and was able to return for the game's pivotal moment.

He finished the day with two receptions for 19 yards and the score.
