Tom Brady dreams of playing an NFL game in China
Most of the NFL's international expansion efforts have been focused on Western Europe, but Tom Brady has his sights set on a different part of the world.
The New England Patriots quarterback is visiting China with his family as part of a promotional tour for his line of pajamas and it sounds like he's enjoying it so much we would like to return in the future.
"My dream is to play a game here in China someday," Brady said at an event, adding that he hopes the NFL plays "many games" in China in the coming years.
"We had an opportunity, I think, 10 years ago and my team was going to play here," Brady added. "Unfortunately, it didn't work out."
Brady is referring to the NFL's proposed China Bowl, which was to pit the Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks in a preseason game in Beijing in 2007. The game was later postponed to 2009 before being scrapped altogether.
