Kraft's son takes shot at Jets during Patriots' charity banquet

The New York Jets are amid a drastic rebuild and the New England Patriots can't help but laugh at their misfortune.

The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation held their awards banquet Thursday, honoring 26 groups that made an impact in the community.

Josh Kraft, the son of Patriots owner, Robert, led a tour of the Patriots' Hall of Fame on Thursday. The younger Kraft used the opportunity to take a shot at the rival Jets, who have released numerous veterans throughout the summer and whose recent history pales in comparison.

"It's a lot better than the Jets' Hall of Fame, which is nonexistent," Kraft said via Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald.

The Patriots don't believe in the quality of mercy and this year's games between the defending Super Bowl champions and the AFC East basement dwellers could get ugly.
