Bengals acquire DE Chris Smith in trade with Jaguars

The Cincinnati Bengals have acquired defensive end Chris Smith from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a conditional 2018 draft selection, the team announced Tuesday.
Smith, a fifth-round pick in 2014, suited up for just 19 games across three seasons in Jacksonville.
It's a low-risk move for the Bengals, as the condition would presumably be based upon playing time in Cincinnati, but one that could add depth at a position of need.
The most productive season of Smith's career came as a rookie, where he tallied three sacks in limited action.
