The Denver Broncos and Houston Texans still don't intend to trade for Tony Romo, after Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed he'll allow teams to contact the veteran quarterback, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Romo's been subject to rampant trade rumors after Dak Prescott emerged as the team's starting quarterback, earning Pro Bowl and Offensive Rookie of the Year honors last season.

Romo carries a $24.7-million cap hit for the upcoming season, $25.2 million in 2018 and $23.7 million in 2019, figures that would be untenable for any prospective suitor.
After facing numerous collarbone injuries over the past two seasons, teams will be doing extensive due diligence before submitting a prospective offer to Romo.
