While the Houston Texans may be looking to switch things up at quarterback, there's at least two positions on their roster that don't need any changes.
This offseason, the Texans intend to sign receiver DeAndre Hopkins and cornerback A.J. Bouye to long-term contracts, owner Bob McNair told Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Hopkins has one year left on his rookie contract and took part in a brief holdout during training camp last summer in hopes of securing a new deal. The fourth-year pro finished just short of this third straight 1,000-yard season in 2016, catching 78 passes for 954 yards with four touchdowns.
Bouye had a breakout season in 2016, making 63 tackles and 16 pass deflections while earning ProFootballFocus' third-best grade among cornerbacks. He is set to become a free agent in March and could be the top player available at his position, should he hit the open market.
