Lions place Riddick on season-ending IR

The Detroit Lions placed running back Theo Riddick on season-ending injured reserve Saturday due to a wrist injury that's sidelined him for the past three games.
The move means that if the Lions enter the playoffs, they'll have to make a run without one of their top offensive playmakers.
It's likely Zach Zenner, who rushed for a career-best 67 yards in last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, will see the majority of touches in the pivotal regular-season finale against the Green Bay Packers.
The Lions signed wide receiver Jace Billingsley in a corresponding move.
