Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Miami Dolphins, the second straight game he will miss.
Mathieu is still battling a shoulder injury suffered in Week 8. He returned to play in Week 12, and hasn't played since.
Head coach Bruce Arian said Mathieu is "contemplating surgery, but I don't think that'll be necessary."
That's not exactly an inspiring message for Cardinals fans hoping Mathieu will return to the field this season.
