The Kansas City Chiefs have removed wide receiver Jeremy Maclin from their injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Oakland Raiders, indicating he'll play after a four-game absence due to a groin injury.

Maclin was reportedly close to returning for a Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons, but the Chiefs chose to give him a few extra days to heal before a crucial AFC West clash with the hated Raiders.

Regardless of whether Maclin is eased back into the mix Thursday, his return will be welcomed by a Chiefs team lacking in offensive playmakers.

Prior to his injury, Maclin made 30 catches for 376 yards and two touchdowns in eight games played.
