New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski left Sunday's game against the New York Jets with a back injury and won't return.
The 27-year-old left the game in the first quarter before recording a catch. He missed last week's game, as well as practice time, with a chest injury.
The Patriots have another active tight end - Martellus Bennett - in the game. He appeared to injury his ankle in the third quarter, but quickly returned.
