Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu: Expected to return in Week 11
Head coach Bruce Arians deems Mathieu (shoulder) "day-to-day" and expects him to suit up Sunday at Minnesota, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Analysis:
If he indeed receives clearance from the team's medical and training staffs, Mathieu will incredibly miss just one game as a result of a shoulder subluxation, benefiting from a Week 9 bye. First, he must return to practice, which Arians foresees the safety taking part in this week, per Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site. Although any activity in the short term will necessitate a harness on his recovering shoulder, Mathieu has reached the point where he can play without the knee brace that has so far protected his surgically repaired right knee this season.
