Knile Davis completes circle, re-signs with Chiefs
Denny Medley / USA TODAY Sports
Running back Knile Davis' quick trip around the NFL has ended where it started.
Davis began the season buried on the Kansas City Chiefs' depth chart. He was traded to the Green Bay Packers for a conditional pick in mid-October, then released by the Packers after just two games with the team.
The New York Jets claimed Davis off waivers, then sent him packing again hours later.
Now the Chiefs, needing running back depth with starter Spencer Ware out with a concussion, have brought Davis back.
We'll see how long it lasts this time.
