In case you were wondering, D'Brickashaw Ferguson won't be playing in Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Opting for retirement earlier this year made that a given, but judging by the name used during a pregame scoreboard test for inactives, the longtime offensive tackle remains fresh in the minds of those in the New York Jets organization.

Ranking 26th in yards and 32nd in scoring through the first six games of the season, the Jets' offense certainly could have benefited from the three-time Pro Bowler returning for an 11th season.
