Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd is expected to miss up to six weeks of action after recently undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, citing a source.
The fourth-year pro underwent the surgery on Thursday to clean up cartilage in his right knee.
The five-to-six week timeline would keep Floyd out until a Week 9 contest against the Detroit Lions.
