Chiefs' Tamba Hali: Back at practice Friday
Hali was back at practice Friday, Adam Teicher of ESPN reports.
Analysis:
Hali missed practice Thursday for personal reasons, but looks primed to return to action Week 1 after spending the entirety of the preseason recovering from an offseason knee injury. The Chiefs will need Hali to contribute to the pass rush right away, as fellow outside linebacker Justin Houston is on the regular-season PUP list. Houston won't be eligible to play until Week 7, meaning Hali could be facing added attention from offensive schemes during the early stages of the season. Up first for the Chiefs is a matchup with Philip Rivers and the Chargers, who allowed 40 sacks in 2015.
