Browns' Hue Jackson laughs off Billick's 0-16 prediction
The Cleveland Browns are a popular pick to finish the 2016 season with the worst record in the league.
The Browns enter the year with a new head coach, new quarterback, and a cast of rookies at receiver. They also cut loose a number of notables on the defensive side of the ball.
Count former NFL coach Brian Billick among those who believe Cleveland will find it tough to record even one win this season. He published a set of tweets Wednesday, ending with a promise to wear a Browns jersey on television if they beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.
You'll dismiss this as "Billick just trashing the Browns again" but seriously...look at schedule & find a single win. You can't do it!

Eagles & Titans most winnable but both on road. #Browns will win at least a game but you can't confidently pick it. https://t.co/0ZfwQTr0Fd

If they go into Philly and win...I'll wear a #Browns jersey to open @NFLGameDay show for week 2. https://t.co/Gwx59dmeHT

Well, word of Billick's tweets got back to Browns head coach Hue Jackson.
"Who said what?" Jackson said to a chorus of laughter at a press conference Wednesday. "Wow. Good for him. I didn't know he worked here.
"I'm just being honest. Nothing to Brian, but I think it is really interesting that everybody can comment on other people's teams and don't even understand their inner workings. I have great respect for Brian. He was a great coach in this league. We will see if that's true. We will look back in 16 games and see if it is right, but I'm not going to get caught up in that."
