Lions' Jon Bostic: Held out of practice Monday

Bostic (foot) did not practice Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

The Lions surprisingly opted to move Josh Bynes (knee) to their injured reserve list Sunday instead of Bostic. This could mean that Bostic is progressing in his recovery from foot surgery faster than expected, but it may also be just a matter of time before he ends up on that very list as well. Either way, his absence from Monday's practice isn't enough to support either theory, yet.
