Colts' Guy to play in HOF game following mother's death
Indianapolis Colts safety Winston Guy will be playing in the Hall of Fame game against the Green Bay Packers with a heavy heart.
Guy's mother died on Saturday, but the 26-year-old still plans to play in Sunday's contest, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
My mother passed away yesterday. And today is the #HOFGame & I know you will be watching over me. I love you #RIPMOM pic.twitter.com/CD6v6IyvAN

Last year, Guy played sparingly, recording six tackles in 12 games.
Guy is competing against T.J. Green and Clayton Geathers for the team's starting free-safety spot.
Ahead of Sunday's game, Guy thanked his fans for their support:
Just want to thank everybody for sending me condolences for my mom. My mom will be in the #Coltsnation section screaming that's my baby #27
