Faulk: Brady will work out with Welker, Moss during suspension

Tom Brady will be turning back the clock in order to stay sharp during his four-game suspension to start the season.

Former New England Patriots running back Kevin Faulk said on NESN Sunday he's certain Brady will reach out to former teammates Wes Welker and Randy Moss to help him work out during the first four weeks of the NFL season.

"He's definitely going to work," Faulk said. "There's no doubt in my mind. He's probably going to do the same regimen he's been doing for the last how many years he's been playing football, stay in that routine, and yes, I'm almost positive Wes Welker is going to be here. He probably will reach out to Randy (Moss), and Randy will come because Randy's in still good shape. Real good shape."

The quarterback is unable to practice - or even communicate - with his teammates during his ban, so it makes sense for him to call upon receivers that know the Patriots' way.

Welker is currently a free agent and has yet to decide if he'll continue playing, while Moss recently joined ESPN as an analyst.

While the loss of Brady will continue to enrage Patriots fans, the sight of the quarterback slinging balls to Welker and Moss, who were part of the club's record-breaking offense in 2007, might ease the pain a little.
