Peyton Manning visits Saints training camp
For the first time since 1997, the NFL opened its training camps around the league this week without Peyton Manning on a roster.
But Manning, in West Virginia for a convention, apparently couldn't resist dropping by the New Orleans Saints' training camp Sunday.
The retired quarterback observed practice with fellow passer Drew Brees, general manager Mickey Loomis, and head coach Sean Payton.

Safety Roman Harper, who was with the Carolina Panthers last season, also spent time with Manning, and joked with reporters that he's still angry at the quarterback for beating his club in Super Bowl 50.

Payton told reporters after practice that Manning had asked if he could drop by a couple of weeks ago, and that he passed on the chance to formally address the team.
