Eagles' Agholor won't face charges for alleged sexual assault
Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams announced Monday that Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor won't face charges for an alleged sexual assault stemming from an incident at a strip club in June.
The DA's office said it "lacked sufficient evidence" to bring any charges against Agholor.
It was reported last Thursday that Agholor would avoid charges.
The former first-round pick was accused of assaulting a 27-year-old dancer on June 9 at Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club in Philadelphia, but has maintained his innocence throughout the investigation.
It's still unknown if the NFL will investigate Agholor and the incident any further under the league's Personal Conduct Policy, with several other Eagles players, including Connor Barwin and Fletcher Cox, also allegedly at the club.
