Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson pleaded not guilty Friday to the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with an incident involving his wife, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.
The 33-year-old allegedly pointed a loaded gun at his wife and threatened to kill her during a vacation in Florida on June 24.
Jackson reportedly asked for a public defender for his case as he claimed he couldn't afford to pay for a lawyer, but a judge denied the request.
