Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack will have to wait another month until he participate in practices and he's irate about the development.

Due to the provisions of the collective-bargaining agreement, Jack needs to wait until UCLA's academic term concludes in June before he can join the Jaguars in organized team activities. After being out of football since September due to a torn meniscus, Jack is none too pleased about sitting until June.

"It really sucks," Jack said to ESPN's Mike DiRocco. "That’s the best way I can put it."

The Jaguars' organized team activities begin on May 23, while the team's mandatory minicamp commences on June 6. Jack said that he hopes to have a thorough command of the team's playbook by the time he can return to action.

"I think I’m missing like a month and some change, and you can't get that time back," Jack said. "I’m going to make the most of it, and hopefully when I come in I’ll have the best idea of the playbook I possibly can so that way they can kind of clean me up and get me right."

Jack was widely considered one of the best players in the draft, before concerns about his knee saw him slip to the second round of the draft.

The 21-year-old is expected to start at outside linebacker for the Jaguars, and will need to overcome a sharp learning curve due to the disadvantageous CBA rule.
