Raiders sign undrafted free agent Greg Townsend Jr.
ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) The Oakland Raiders have signed undrafted free agent defensive end Greg Townsend Jr.
The team announced the move Wednesday to add the son of the all-time sacks leader in franchise history.
The younger Townsend played college football at USC, where he saw action in all 14 games last season.
Greg Townsend Sr. had 107 1/2 sacks with the Raiders and helped the team win the Super Bowl following the 1983 season.
