Report: Manning not interested in broadcasting job this season
Don't expect to see Peyton Manning on your TV during NFL broadcasts this fall.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback, who announced his retirement following the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl 50 win, has shown no interest in taking a broadcasting job, Bob Raissman of the New York Daily News reports.
It's believed all of the NFL's broadcast partners would have interest in adding Manning either as a studio analyst or color commentator - at almost any price - and Manning was rumored to have interest in such a role.
It seems that's not the case (for now, at least). Manning's representatives have reportedly informed the networks that Manning will not participate in broadcasts during the upcoming season.
Manning has also been rumored to be interested in taking on an ownership stake or a front-office job with an NFL team, but there's no known movement on that front, either.
