The Green Bay Packers have selected defensive end Dean Lowry out of Northwestern in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Lowry was projected as a likely seventh-round pick or undrafted free agent by many, but apparently the Packers liked what they saw in him enough to spend a mid-round pick to acquire him.
Lowry has a classic 3-4 defensive end body type and is known as a high-character player. He has a chance to become a useful players for the Packers.
