Jennings relayed that he's been dealing with pain on the bottom of his foot rather than his Achilles, and believes he'll be ready to suit up Tuesday against the Nuggets, NBA.com reports. "The Achilles is fine," Jennings said. "[The injury] was just over time. So it's nothing serious. It's just soreness and I should be good [by Tuesday]."
Analysis:
Jennings missed Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers with the injuries, leaving the Magic a little thin at point guard since Elfrid Payton (elbow) also sat out. It seems like Jennings is further along in his recovery of the two at this stage, so if Jennings is indeed ready to play Tuesday, he could end up splitting the minutes at point guard with C.J. Watson.
