Arizona Coyotes forward Joe Vitale's season is over after a single game.
Vitale won't play again in 2015-16 due to concussion-related issues, Coyotes general manager Don Maloney told reporters Wednesday, according to Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic.
"There's been no real measurable progress," Maloney said.
The 30-year-old center suffered a fractured orbital bone and a concussion in a fight with Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller on Oct. 17.

Vitale was originally expected to miss four-to-six weeks with the broken bone, but he hasn't played since.
He has 44 points and 156 penalty minutes in 234 career games.
