Canadiens recall McCarron from AHL

Hours after assigning forward Charles Hudon to the American Hockey League, the Montreal Canadiens recalled forward Michael McCarron from the St. John's IceCaps.

The 20-year-old leads the IceCaps with 13 goals in 28 games. McCarron notched his second hat trick of the season on Wednesday against the Albany Devils.

McCarron will join the Canadiens on Friday, and will dress against the Dallas Stars Saturday..
