Bargain Plays - Week 15's Top Sleeper Picks

Here are the top sleeper picks on Week 15's NFL slate:

QB Alex Smith, Chiefs (at Ravens)

With Smith, you know what you get. The Chiefs rely primarily on its ground game and Smith is perfect for that kind of scheme. Short, safe passes. It is a problem in DFS because he's not a huge TD threat.

He has thrown four interceptions, which is the fewest among the top 20 in passing yards. He doesn't cost much and is up against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. He'll likely hook up with Jeremy Maclin for one, if not two, touchdowns even if his yardage remains low.

RB Danny Woodhead, Chargers (vs. Dolphins)

The Miami Dolphins don't do well against running backs who are extensively featured in the passing game. Even though Miami won against the Ravens in Week 13, Javorius Allen caught 12 passes for 107 yards an a TD. DeMarco Murray caught six passes for 58 yards on top of 61 yards rushing. Dion Lewis racked up 93 yards and a TD.

While Woodhead has fallen out of favor - inexplicable, considering the insane injuries - he should be expected to factor into the game. If he doesn't, the Chargers will have missed its best opportunity to exploit the Dolphins' biggest defensive deficiency.

WR Dorial Green-Beckham, Titans (at Patriots)

Over his past two weeks, Green-Beckham has eight receptions for 172 yards and a TD. His salary is low, and as good as the Patriots' defense has played against the pass in the last two weeks, this could be a big game.

Marcus Mariota has had some good games and bad. Since the Titans are not likely going to be in this game, Mariota will be forced to throw early and often. Any picks he tosses won't hurt Green-Beckham's value, and the rookie wide out could see his highest amount of targets yet.

TE Eric Ebron, Lions (at Saints)

Many passes will be thrown on Monday between the Lions and Saints. Ebron should stand to benefit from this as New Orleans has not been able to stop many teams through the air.

And how have the Saints done against tight ends, specifically? Behold:

Week Name Yards TD
1 Darren Fells (ARI) 82 1
2 Austin Seferian-Jenkins (TB) 29 0
3 Greg Olsen (CAR) 134 2
4 Jason Witten (DAL) 57 0
5 Brent Celek (PHI) 44 1
6 Jacob Tamme (ATL) 32 0
7 Coby Fleener (IND) 47 0
8 Larry Donnell (NYG) 22 0
9 Delanie Walker (TEN) 95 2
10 Jordan Reed (WAS) 29 2
12 Ryan Griffin (HOU) 72 1
13 Greg Olsen (CAR) 129 0
14 Austin Seferian-Jenkins (TB) 31 0

That's nine TDs caught by tight ends. Ebron is a good value pick.
