World Cup legend Fabio Cannavaro named Saudi club manager
Considered one of the greatest defenders in world football, Italian Ballon d'Or winner Fabio Cannavaro is enjoying his career's second chapter, with Tuesday's announcement he'll become manager of Saudi outfit Al-Nassr, marking his second head coaching position.
Having played for some of Europe's biggest clubs and honoured as FIFA World Player of the Year in Italy's World Cup-winning 2006, the Riyadh-based side hope Cannavaro can bring some of those experiences to the Saudi top-flight.

Cannavaro started his coaching career in 2013 as an assistant to current Watford gaffer Quique Sanchez Flores at Emirati side Al-Ahli before taking the top spot at Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande.
The Naples-born legend guided the Chinese side to their fifth consecutive title during the 2014-15 season before ceding the position to well-traveled Brazilian boss Luiz Felipe Scolari.
