DFS: Numbers Game - A Look at the Key Stats from Week 7
From the Pacific northwest on Thursday night to Carolina on Sunday night - with a stop in London, England - there was a world of numbers to dive into from the Week 7 slate.
9 Carries - With only nine rushing attempts against the Jets, New England has reached a new level of pass-happiness. Shockingly, Tom Brady was the team's leading rusher with 15 yards on four attempts; the traditional RBs on the Pats combined for one yard on five carries.
10-7 - The Falcons have dodged questions about their status as contenders and didn't do themselves any favors by barely edging out a 1-5 Titans squad featuring Zach Mettenberger at QB. Despite the pitiful 10-point outing, neither Devonta Freeman or Julio Jones were fantasy busts, each totaling at least 15 points.
26 Straight Points - Led by Brian Hoyer, the Texans played through the storm in Miami for a 26-point second-half run, including a rushing and receiving TD from Arian Foster. Foster would tear his Achilles by the game's end, putting his career in jeopardy. And high-priced WR DeAndre Hopkins was held to just 60 yards with a fumble. And the Texans were down 44-0 to the middling Dolphins by halftime. Maybe there's no silver-lining here after all.

28.9 INTs - Colts' QB Andrew Luck should be thankful he's missed two games to date because at the rate he's completing passes to the defense, he is actually on pace to challenge Peyton Manning's dubious 28 interceptions from his rookie season. Luck's current accuracy and power issues would suggest he's still struggling with shoulder issues and should be avoided for now in DFS.
121 Yards Rushing - Le'Veon Bell had a rough Week 6 by his lofty standard, reaching 88 yards on 24 carries. This week, Bell's DFS backers were able to block out the starting QB mystery in Pittsburgh and enjoy the RB's 17.7 point - 12.1 from rushing and 5.6 from receiving. Even without a TD, Bell provided a steady performance for cash games and should continue to receiver a heavy work-load regardless of his QB.

124 Yards Passing - Colin Kaepernick's 124 yards through the air is shockingly only his second worst total of the season having totaled 67 yards at Arizona in Week 3. In four of Kaep's games this season, he has been held below 200 yards passing and without a passing TD. Colin's not nimble, Colin's not quick; methinks he was better at Candlestick.
300+ Yards Passing - Teddy Bridgewater has thrown just five TDs to four interceptions so far this season but had arguably his best outing as a pro at Detroit on Sunday. Throwing for over 300 yards for the first time since December 14, 2014, Bridgewater also threw two touchdowns with no picks. For a QB that is able to rely on Adrian Peterson, Bridgewater is showing improvement and may warrant matchup-based DFS play in the weeks to come.

1,492 Days - It's been a while since Darren McFadden ran for 150 yards in a game. It's only his fourth game with even 100 yards on the ground since September 25, 2011 when he had a career-high 171 yards against the Jets. He only had 129 rushing yards before his game against New York, so temper expectations for another huge week for McFadden. Still, with 152 yards, a TD and two receptions on two targets, reports out of Dallas that Christine Michael would get an opportunity to earn the starter's role seem disingenuous at best.
