Cristiano Ronaldo has ascended past the level of mortal man at last. The Real Madrid icon has achieved the impossible. His power level is well over 9000. He is a Super Saiyan!

A Ronaldo goal celebration video was cleverly edited by a reddit user to show the Portuguese international undergoing the famous physical transformation seen in the anime series "Dragon Ball Z."

While Ronaldo is not the first footballing personality to exceed the power level of a mere human being - Mexico's former manager, Miguel Herrera, achieved the feat too - his power-up looks much more devastating.

After this transformation, Ronaldo reportedly looked Lionel Messi dead in the eye and said: "I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you."
