Strengths

  • Strong fit as a 4-3 weak-side linebacker, using his high-level athletic ability to both fly to the ball against the run and contribute dropping back into coverage.
  • Takes on and sheds blocks at the line of scrimmage, shaking free and allowing himself the opportunity to make a play on the ball.
  • Flashed some ability rushing the passer in situational roles off the edge, and has the athletic ability to do the same at the next level.

Weaknesses

  • Despite ability to beat opposing linemen with speed and quickness, he will need to get stronger and add to his frame to match up at this level.
  • Current size would make it difficult for him to contribute as a pass rusher in a role any other than a blitzing 4-3 linebacker early in his career.
  • Must put himself in better position against the running game and stick to his assignment.
