The Baltimore Orioles have avoided arbitration with Ryan Flaherty by agreeing to a one-year contract, reports CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.
Flaherty will earn $1.075 million in 2015, and will receive an extra $25,000 if he makes 400 plate appearances.
The versatile 28-year-old requested $1.5 million and the team countered with a $900,000 offer when the two sides previously exchanged salary figures.
Flaherty hit .221 with seven home runs and 32 RBIs in 102 games.
