Senators recall Chris Wideman from Binghamton

The Ottawa Senators have recalled defenseman Chris Wideman from Binghamton of the AHL, the NHL club announced Saturday.

Wideman registered 29 points in 32 games with the Senators affiliate after scoring nine goals and adding 42 assists in 73 games last season.

It is the first recall of his NHL career.
