South Carolina's Steve Spurrier says Marcus Lattimore can work for Gamecocks

South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier believes in taking care of his own.

With former Gamecocks rusher Marcus Lattimore possibly headed for retirement, Spurrier expressed that South Carolina would likely welcome him back to the university as an employee.

"I'm pretty positive that the president or the AD (athletic director) or me or somebody could hire him at USC," Spurrier said, according to Josh Kendall of The State newspaper.

While Lattimore mulls his decision, at least he knows he can turn back to the Gamecocks for support.
