After a brief scare, it appears that San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is okay after all.
Davis left Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the third quarter with a back injury and did not return.
However, the 49ers star underwent X-rays that tested negative, and Davis said he's having back spasms according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle.
“I’ll be good. I’ll be fine. I’m not worried about. Everything should be cool," Davis said to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com
Davis caught two passes for eight yards in the 49ers' victory.
