Report: Florida State making changes to new helmet, uniforms
Florida State fans who were less than impressed with the debut of the team's new football helmet and uniforms rejoice.
According to ESPN radio's Jeff Cameron via Twitter, the Seminoles will soon be reverting back to some of their more classic characteristics.
It's a process but FSU will return the helmet color to traditional gold & are fixing the face mask issue. No more purple. New spear stays..

The gold numbers will be removed before seasons end and switched out for garnet.

The new logo and Seminole symbols will stay but again helmets and numbers to be fixed. Helmets sooner than the numbers.
