Packers rookie Abbrederis out for season with ACL injury
Green Bay Packers rookie Jared Abbrederis will have to wait another full season to get a shot at making his NFL debut.
Abbrederis' Dad Randy posted a message on his son's facebook fanclub page on Saturday that he will be placed on injured reserve and will miss the entirety of the season.
Per @abbrecadabra's dad, he hurt his knee WEDNESDAY. RT @thROBmarley: His dad wrote on facebook he'll miss the year. pic.twitter.com/RCZdWFoCtp

The message states that the injury originally occurred on Wednesday, and he continued practicing through it on both Wednesday and Thursday.
In keeping with the theme of the Abbrederis family announcing injury news via social media, Jared tweeted on Saturday the confirmation that he the injury he suffered was his ACL.
I know there has been a lot of talk going around about my injury. The acl injury was confirmed this morning and is only a small setback.
