PHOTOS: Dayton unveils new logo, uniforms, court design
The Dayton Flyers enjoyed a miraculous Elite Eight run this past season, and they're looking to continue that momentum by entering this upcoming season with a new look.
This from university vice president and director of athletics Tim Wabler, via Sporting News:
This is a stronger, more iconic representation of our program and our sports teams - one that will set the direction for the next generation of Dayton Flyers. This is more than just a logo; it's an affirmation of our commitment to meet the challenges of today's intercollegiate athletics environment.
The new logo features a stylized "D," while the wings are a nod to the school's home of Dayton, the birthplace of flight.

The logo has a retro feel to it, but the uniforms look sleek and modern.
