Jozy Altidore's night came to an abrupt end during the first half against Ghana on Wednesday, after suffering a strained left hamstring while chasing down a pass.

Altidore was stretchered off following a quick conversation with team doctors, and was replaced by Aron Johannsson.
Johannsson, the AZ Alkmaar forward, is coming off a season of 26 goals and seven assists.
