Luka to be back at practice after injury scare in EuroBasket exhibition
Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic sustained a right knee contusion Saturday in the second half of Slovenia's EuroBasket exhibition game against Latvia, sources told NBA insider Marc Stein.
Slovenia's basketball federation later stated that Doncic will be back for Monday's team practice, suggesting the ailment is minor.
Doncic collided awkwardly with a teammate and immediately grabbed his right knee, but was able to walk to the locker room under his own power.

Doncic is among a handful of NBA stars who have committed to playing for their countries at EuroBasket, which runs Aug. 27-Sept. 14.
Los Angeles recently signed Doncic to a three-year, $165-million contract extension that includes a player option for the 2028-29 campaign.
The five-time All-Star averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 1.6 steals across 28 appearances for the Lakers last season.
