Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva hasn't been signed off on yet

While the UFC has set Chael Sonnen's bout with Wanderlei Silva for May 31 in Brazil, the match has yet to be finalized, as the contract hasn't been signed.

UFC president Dana White ruled out money or whether Chael Sonnen could safely wean himself off testosterone replacement therapy, which was recently banned by both the Nevada and Brazilian athletic commissions, as causes for no contract being signed.

"One of the things about Chael Sonnen, he’s a very good communicator," said White. "So if Chael thought something was in jeopardy or something wasn’t gonna happen, he would let us know."

White hinted to reporters that the impasse was the result of something that happened on The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3, but refused to give further details, saying, "we can revisit this in a couple months."
