The U.S. and Canadian figure skaters loved Queen Yuna's short program

There's only one event to go in Olympic figure skating and if the sport's stars have anything to say about it, it's probably the most important event on the agenda.
Several Canadian and American skaters were gathered together at the Iceberg Skating Palace on Wednesday to watch the ladies' short program unfold. They were there for their teammates, but they were also there for the Queen.

Korea's Yuna Kim has only competed five times since she took Olympic gold in Vancouver four years ago. (That's not a lot. Like, at all.) Still, it sure didn't look like it when she started skating her short program. The Olympians on hand were in awe.
Kim is only 23, but is planning to make Sochi her farewell Games.
The queen does it again here in Sochi, all I can say is wow. #queen #YunaKim

One of my most favourite pieces of music skated brilliantly by @Yunaaaa . What a legend.

The superstar catapulted to the top of the pack with just under half of the field left to skate. Kim's 74.92 represents a commanding and sizable lead over 15-year-old Polina Edmunds of the U.S., who posted a new personal best of 61.04 with her program.
