Analysis:

Larsson has missed more than a month with a knee injury and is nearing a return. The Devils will want him to get more of his conditioning back before re-inserting him into the lineup. The team isn't rushing him back due to the logjam on their blue line. Once, Larsson is ready to play, there is no guarantee he will receive regular ice time given the play of several other young defenders on the roster.
