Charles Leclerc: Crash and DNF at Zandvoort
Leclerc crashed and finished 19th in the Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Circuit Zandvoort on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The Ferrari star would be battling between fourth- and fifth-place for most of the grand prix. Leclerc would pit on lap 51 to take on fresh tyres for the final stint of the day. However, when he would rejoin the track he would blend with Kimi Antonelli and the two would battle into turn 3. The young Mercedes driver would make an ill-advised move to pass on the inside of the turn and drift up the banking and into Leclerc. The two would make contact and Leclerc would nose hard into the wall, ending his day in Zandvoort.
