5-star recruit Arrington chooses Texas A&M over Oregon
Five-star athlete Brandon Arrington is committing to Texas A&M, he announced Thursday.
Arrington is the No. 1 athlete and 14th-ranked recruit in 2026, according to the ESPN 300. The California native's decision came down to Texas A&M and Oregon.

He's the Aggies' highest-ranked recruit for 2026 so far. The college has landed nine other ESPN 300 prospects, including five top-100 athletes.
Arrington's stood out as both a wide receiver and cornerback at Mount Miguel High School. He's also a track and field star who ran the 100m dash in 10.21 seconds and the 200m dash in 20.44 seconds, according to World Athletics.
