Jets head coach Scott Arniel said postgame that Morrissey's injury is "not good."
Morrissey led all Jets defensemen in points (62) and average time on ice (24:23) during the regular season. He recorded six assists in 12 games this postseason.
The 30-year-old has finished in the top seven in Norris Trophy voting in each of the past two seasons.
