Commodore signed a one-year contract with Admiral Vladivostok of the KHL on Thursday, Darren Dreger of TSN.ca reports.

Commodore spent last season between the AHL affiliates of the Canadiens and Stars, failing to earn a promotion to the highest level at any point. The 33-year-old defenseman has decided to take his talents overseas rather than toil at the AHL level for another year, but he could always resume his career in the States in 2014.
